Can you both try checking your Steam and EA account settings for anything that might be blocking people?

If everything looks good, try going through the following steps:

1. Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates
2.  Repair the game files in the EA app. Go to the Library and find your game. Click the Manage icon, then click Repair.
3. Clear EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
4. Troubleshoot your connection to EA games
5. Check if any background applications are stopping the EA app or your game.
