Most PS3 games run at 720p natively, don't worry about it, if it's a TV you're playing on, you won't notice a difference when you're sitting at least a metre away. *Very few games on either PS3 or XBOX run at 1080p, the consoles aren't powerful enough to render 1080p in real time (on top of Anti-Aliasing).
