I hope EA is working on a patch to introduce steering wheel compatablility for the PS4. I miss using my Logitech G27 Racing wheel playing this game

Seriously i looked forward to playing this game more than any other game due out this year, luckily i saw your post just prior to ordering a Logitech G27, how can you release a driving game that doesn't support steering wheels, i mean seriously what were you guys thinking, where is the logic behind that? The mechanics are probably identical to Hot Pursuit 2 and that worked great with my G25. Why didn't you even give players the option? Seriously it boils down to either a) not caring about your PC customers or b) just being pure lazy. Either way i refuse to buy the game unless you implement steering wheel support. Finally i'm starting to understand all the hate for EA.
Please release a patch with support for steering wheels and then i'll rush out and buy this game, until then, my money stays with me.
I certainly hope your business managers seriously consider adding wheel support to this game. I've been an avid fan of Hot Pursuit/NFS from the beginning and cannot fathom why wheel support was dropped with this version, when it has been available in all previous versions. We have crafted our home systems over what we would hope is a standard setup to continue to enjoy the games as they are updated and released. IMHO, a controller or keyboard just doesn't cut it for racing games. Hopefully, EA will listen to its customer base and correct this oversight.
Add wheel/pedal/vibration support, and I will re-purchase my copy of Rivals.
Six friends and myself returned our games today and advised the rest of our friends (all wheel users as well) to not buy this game. This is completely unacceptable to force PC gamers that have invested thousands of dollars into their rigs to use a gamepad/keyboard. If we wanted to use gamepads, we would own consoles. You had to do some DirectInput coding to add keyboard support so I can't see it being too difficult to go a little further and support Direct Input wheels. I personally don't need force feedback or vibration in a game like this, just want my wheel to work. If you can do that, we will all buy it again. Until then you have customers dropping like flies.

Make sure you apply for a refund ASAP. I pre-ordered the download and got my refund approved within 10 minutes after filing on-line. But you have to read the fine print to make sure you meet the deadlines. 24 hours from the time you first play the game I think.
We want to know that this has been escalated. With so many other driving games out there that do support driving wheels how could you possibly drop the ball on this? This is the dumbest screwup I've ever seen....especially now that there are lots of people complaining about it on here as well as other gaming sites. This is the 21st century.....we are no longer playing Nintendo 64's !!!!
Force feedback IS required.
If EA, Ghost, Criterion, whoever...........fixes the problem, I'll be happy to purchase the game again. You gave me the refund within 10 minutes, that was much appreciated. I still think it's pretty crappy to release a driving game in 2013 with no wheel support. Very poor decision, but that's what happens when profit is the only goal.

This is really very sad!!! I wish I had seen this thread before, **bleep**. I was trying to play Rivals with the G27 and wondering why is the wheel not recognized. And now I can see why. Really, so cheap outsourced programmers that cannot develop a game with a wheel support? Or is management sleeping in a drugs cloud? I hope the support is added asap. Racing game without wheel support is like running a marathon with high heels (maybe some managers by EA have experience with it)
I will buy as soon as this game supports my G27 with force feedback. And I will buy it earlier if it even supports H transmition or unlocks the 30fps.
on pc Theres a workaround for the 60 fps issue apparently.

What ever dog. Im not a stupid ass little boy gamer like them ignorant fools who play consoles. Im a grown ass man that plays on the PC platform. And one thing we DO NOT like, is someone telling us what we cant do with our property. (possession is 9 tenths of the law) Honestly to me, the NFS line was **bleep** from the 2nd title. Meaning NFS on PSX. The difference fron NFS on the 3DO to the PSX was like 3DO=sim, and PSX=braindead arcade player.
Then as a tester with your last disgrace, NFS HotpursuitMostWantedAgain (great concept) You dix left out the most important option. The option to be a man instead of being a default vag... WTF! no manual tranny? I could handle just being a retard using the sticks. But no shifting. That was my red flag about you people. You guys are on a power trip. I guess you figure, that since most of your player base is on consoles, and consolers are nothing but stupid, you guys dont have to try at all. And I guess, you guys figure if your numbers still look good you are in good shape to release your next lashing of the slave whip. And I was right, This crap has no wheel support. And! im going to guess its got no wheel support either.
Im already with 30 of my friends on this, I have gotten them to sell off all their old EA games, and we dont find a need to buy any future titiles. You never do what is right. You dont listen to the most important people, US, the customer is always right. You guys are just **bleep**. No wonder I never had any friends that were upset when they stopped working for you guys. They would just laugh when we drive by saying, "the jokes of Jefferson Blvd" So my 30, is going out to their friends, and so on, and spreading the for some reason lost gift of common sense and BOYCOTTING EA lames.
