Hello guys, 

After many tries and fails, here's one solution that worked for me using the X360ce tool (using a generic joystick):

1. Install the x64 version of the X360ce tool and copy it to the folder of the game

2. connect the joystick & open the tool as administrator

3. select the "auto" option in "controller 1" tab >  little green square in controller 1 tab should turn green

4. check all Xinput Files in "Game settings" tab and save

5. keep the X360 tool open and open the game
