You have to repair your game in Origin first.

Here is what you can try:

Basic Steps:

1. Check the minimum system requirements of the game against the customer's computer (Windows) and update any drivers that are out-of-date.
2. Unplug all USB devices (aside from the mouse and keyboard) and try the game again.
3. Disable the Origin in-game overlay (IGO). To do this, launch the Origin client. Then go to the Origin menu, Application Settings, Origin In Game, and then uncheck "Enable Origin In Game."
4. Update the game.
5. Repair the game install.
6. Update your system. (Windows)

Advanced Steps:

1. Run the game as admin.
2. Check Windows compatibility with the game.
3. Temporarily disable UAC. (Instructions found in this article)
4. Perform a clean boot.
5. Create a new admin account (Windows / Mac).
6. Run CHKDSK. ( This step may take several hours to complete)
7. Run the System File Checker, then uninstall and reinstall the game.
