Re: Need for Speed: Shift

Yes we want to know ASAP if there is someone really working to fix this problem. And I think we all deserve a compensation due to this situation. Many of us bought the game and the DLC recently thinking that everything would be alright, but it isn't. Instead, we found a problem which hasn't been solved for two months. We should get our money back, or some kind of compensation, because we paid full price for a full working game, and the game is definitely not working properly!!! We ask for warranty and compensation!!!

    There might be no updates available at this time but I'd like to reassure you on this, it does not mean that we are not doing everything we can to get this issue resolved.

    Now it might take some time but Nils and I are following the situation closely, we have collected all the relevant information you've posted so we can forward them to the teams with the aim of getting this fixed sooner.

    We will post here again as soon as we have more information.

    Haha David_Auza, your comment makes no sense and is quite funny to be honest. I imagine one of those rednecks talking while reading your comment haha.

    True, EA could work a lot faster with all the money they make, but I guess we just have to be patient here. As usual with EA, right _Najat? 😉 Getting angry isn't going to help anyway, so why bother wasting your energy, especially on the forum guys who aren't even solving the issue themselfs.

    I'll be checking back here in a bit and hopefully things will be up and running again. If anyone is up to boosting the online badges for an easier plat, let me know.

    Just another update to what Najat has posted earlier.

    NFS: Shift is a legacy title and in this case the studio that had made the game is not working on it anymore. 

    We have teams that specifically look after servers, be it current titles or legacy ones. 

    As Community Managers, Najat & I can just collate and relay the information that you guys have given us, and the key information to start off with was that while you were able to log into multiplayer the actual game modes don't work.

    We have alerted the teams that are now looking after the servers of the game of the issue and they are now looking into where exactly the problem lies. Your detailed descriptions of what you had encountered when trying to play an online mode will assist them greatly with that. It will allow them to narrow down where to look on the server configuration and networking side of things.

    Unfortunately on our end there isn't much we can do now to speed things up, our role now is just to keep relaying information between you the players and those in charge of attempting the fix.

  • Let us hope we'll see some light in the tunnel at least sometime. By the way, patience is not infinite, even for patient people. I wish that the next post will be some good news.

    I remember that servers on ps3 worked until november 2014 and there was a number times when I got error messages like now, but then servers went back online. Now I cant play it online again.
