This does not solve the problem. The problem isn't losing them at high speeds.
Let me explain the problem, imagine spinning around, crashing back first into a building, a cop car crashes head first next to you in the same building. The busted metre starts counting down, so you hit the gas and start accellerating, but the busted metre still counts down, even tho you are gaining speed and distance from the cop car standing still.
At this time you have gained 25mph and are 70feet away from the cop car still in the building, but NOW the busted metre is empty and you are busted.
This is not realistic, fun, practical or nessesary
