Re: [NFS 16 PC] You have been disconnected from the server

@MGeorge_96 @Casper_Decimo868

Since Need for Speed is a connected it means that connection issues will interfere with your game play.

Issues could be caused by server problems on our side, but they could also be on your home network. Server issues are always temporary, so if the issue persists for the both of you, then please revert to the following connection troubleshooting:

  • Use a wired connection
  • Make sure no anti-virus or firewall is blocking Origin and NFS
  • Try power cycling your system and router
  • Try a clean boot to make sure no background programs are conflicting with Origin or NFS

Further connection troubleshooting is available in the following articles:

    Are these the only solutions to the problem? as I'm currently experiencing the same issue with a 200mpbs connection. I had a similar issue with GTA V online and i had to open some ports to get the game working online properly.

    Isit the same with Need For Speed (2015)?

    I'm playing on PC.. are there any ports to open?

    Thanks

    Need for Speed for PC doesn't have specific ports that need to be opened for the game itself. However, make sure that you've allowed the Origin ports:

    • TCP: 80; 443; 9960-9969; 1024-1124; 3216; 18000; 18120; 18060; 27900; 28910; 29900
    • UDP: 1024-1124; 18000; 29900

    The following article might hold some additional information so double-check that as well:

    And lastly, it is not about the speed of your connection, but instead it is the quality that is important. Make sure to use a network cable instead of going wireless, or perhaps test if your network cable is damaged etc.

    Thank you for your timely reply as I was just playing NFS with my brother and was experiencing the connection issue.

    I will open up the TCP & UDP ports as well as replacing my network cable ( noticed some wear and tear and exposed wiring )

    And I also gave this game number 1 priority in the Bigfoot LAN killer see if these steps help. Thank you again.

    **update**

    I opened the TCP ports successfully however when i try to open the UDP ports my router webpage states that it's a 'invalid range of ports' any ideas?

    I opened the TCP ports ( as some were closed and some were already open due to GTA V) and opening the ports for Origin has solved the issue, I am now playing with no connnection issues!

    Thank you very much!

    I know many players hate to hear it; but yes, opening ports does help! :D

    Glad to hear that you are playing again without issues. Please enjoy both the game, and your weekend.

    @adnanakram217

    You could try reaching out to your internet provider if you are still experiencing issues with both games. Perhaps they might be able to walk you through some further options.
