Although I will say I might not be online all the time, I'll see if I can make some time for it. I've been thinking that we could all decide on a certain time to play or something, since it's quite random who will be online sometimes. I've been playing with @George26e recently, having an absolute blast (he's a pro) but it would be even better with a full server! I'd definitely want to play a full pursuit knockout or pursuit tag if possible.

Let me know what you all think? Happy to try and agree a time if anyone has a suggestion. Hope everyone is doing well, and good luck online!

Thanks to both @George26e and @Maragato_20 for the great NFSC online experience!

We played many Circuit events, some Pursuit Knockouts, and even some Pursuit Tag! Absolute blast and a great time had by all.

Hoping for more players sometime soon, and if we're lucky, we might get a full 8 player server. I believe a reward card goes to all players involved, so it's definitely worth a shot!

Plus, I can't wait to see how chaotic a Pursuit Knockout or Pursuit Tag would get on a full server. We're talking roadblocks and Rhino tactics!

Hi there. It's been a couple of weeks I got my hands on it. Just wanted to see what it is like, so that's why I got it. My PSN is the same with my account name here. Hope to do it once we're both online.

I had no idea that a simple question as to whether the game's servers were still running back in 2019 would become an attempt to revive the NFSC online scene, and I'm still finding like-minded players who are still searching for those last few reward cards...

It's been a blast, yet really frustrating. There have been brilliant moments of gameplay, yet horrible connection issues and fatal lag issues. Overall though, it's been a pleasure. Although I may not have been the most active, I can only hope that the time I've managed to be online will suffice; I will endeavour to get on to see the game's final moments too, before the servers are finally shut down at the end of the month.

Unfortunately, I don't play Carbon on PS3 as much as I used to - though I did enjoy Most Wanted '05 on the PS2 last week.

To answer your question, I believe the official EA servers for several Need for Speed games developed by Black Box and Criterion were shutdown and have been since August 2021. I do not know if there are any fan servers or anything like that, but Carbon online effectively no longer exists for the vanilla PS3 game.

As for reward cards, some of them are exceptionally difficult - particularly the one which requires you to race (and beat) an EA moderator. If there was anyone who could have done a clean sweep, it would be the amazing @George26e - he is an expert on NFSC and a superb racer with great knowledge of in-game tuning too. It's a shame that it's gone and that NFS is heading in the direction it is currently; I would have really enjoyed racing him (and others) seeing as my racecraft as far, far better than what it was back then!
