@dcotugno 😇 the situation is as follows.

Is a Windows issues your problem and not Origin.If the new account user don't solve the problem then the only way to get a FullScreen for Your Game you have to do a reset or restore or refresh or reinstall your Windows.

Windows users regularly reinstall Windows or restore from a recovery partition to fix system problems. Windows 8 or 10 include easier-to-use “Refresh” and “Reset” options that quickly restore Windows to a fresh, factory default configuration.So I do myself when I have problems.😉

But you’ve created your new user account and the problem you were experiencing is solved.

OK, but now you need to make it like your previous account.

The desktop wallpaper and theme are the easy parts that can be quickly tweaked, but what about program settings and all your personal files? you asked😞

When doing this from two different computers, you can use the Windows Easy Transfer tool.

But transferring these files on the same machine can be done via manual copy and paste.

so you saying for Need for Speed to work full screen on my windows 7 pc i need to reinstall my windows :/ 

@venolin_187 when using your Windows 7 machine there might be times when something goes wrong with a driver or an app and Windows becomes unstable.

Alternatively, performing a system restore reverts the OS to a previous state, which is not exactly like a clean install, but could help you get your system working properly.

You choose and yes is a only way😇.Is my opinion and not more valuable or pertinent as your opinion.😉

I would hold off on that since I haven't seen a confirmation that this would solve the issue. However, I did see one user in this thread stating that his issue was resolved after upgrading to Windows 10.

Hey, just bought the game and been having the exact same issue. Went through all the posts here and got it solved.

The culprit for me turned out to be teamviewer, or more precisely the quick connect button it puts on window borders. For whatever reason it prevented NFS to switch properly to fullscreen. After disabling it, everything seem to be running great.

AND FOR EVERYONE ELSE RUNNING TEAMVIEWER

I have been working on this since the release of the game with much help from everyone.  I am using teamviewer and had disabled it in order to test whether or not it was having an effect on the game with fullscreen.  In my process it actually wasnt disabled........ (wouldve saved so many headaches)

This was a solve for me and does allow me to play full screen.

Killing teamviewer while playing is much better then having to switch users to play a game I so much have wanted to play.

for me, it was actually enough to just hide the stupid button (never used it anyway), teamviewer itself is running happily in background ^^

you can disable by going to the options menu (extras->options), there click advanced options->show advanced options, scroll down to find the 'QuickConnect button' (it's roughly in the middle), click 'configure' and there you can either hide it completely or add an exception to the NFS executable so it's not forced to show there.

Okay, I'm glad you guys fixed it, but what if I don't have Team Viewer installed and I still can't fullscreen this game? Could there be any other programs similar to that one that are causing this issue?

Please try a clean boot if you haven't done so yet as that would turn off all non-essential background programs and processes. However, as mentioned in a previous reply, you could double check your running processes if perhaps something failed to turn off.

i dont have Team viewer and still got problem i was try to crate new account and play doesnt work for me too, you have to do smt. about it. That wasn enough players temp. choice!!

Hi everyone... Just to give some input here.

I came from Windows 10 and installed this game (Need for Speed 2016) in Windows 10.

But I was having a nightmare with the boot up problem / bug from Windows 10 where the Blue Screen will keep on circling a few dots around for hours. Need to restart 4 times and above to finally get it to boot up.

This is very annoying so I decided to downgrade back to Windows 8.1. 

And tadaa~~ I'm now here with you guys, having problems of not being able to play it FULL SCREEN. I had tried everything you guys suggested to no avail.

And yes... upgrading to Windows 10 do solve the problem. I don't have any screen issues while I was running the game with Windows 10. But the Windows is way too buggy.. and when I downgraded, I can't even play this game well.

Hope to see an update of this problem soon.

I also dont have a teamviewer Problen and did a clean boot, still not working in fullscreen!

CTRL + Enter always switch back to windowmode

And what i heard from my friend who run almost the same spec as mine. This issue only occurs on windows 8.1 he tested on two diffrent machine which are windows 10 and windows 7 and they work perfectly fine

I also tried to run as admin/compabillity and others but still it doesnt work , even the alt enter doesnt work.
And sometimes the game just come up with blackscreen for 1-2 sec and run back again.

Windows 8.1 Home (Up to date)
And latest version of Geforce Experience
Also i dont have teamviewer installed
