The drift indeed is terrible. There is a huge difference between drifting in the free run and in the race. While racing drifting event the car sticks to the road more than in the free run. There should be no setting changes. In the reality, it doesn't change on its own.

Make a game where there is NFS Most Wanted police car braking system, NFS underground 2 tuning with a dyno, all the NFS valley maps together for a better drifting experience. Something between Carbon and Payback drifting would be great. Games should be fun to play, but all we get is marketing.
