How about a Type-S that's actually a Type-S? Sure it had Type-S badges, but it had unpainted side skirts (like a base) 160 horsepower (like a base) and a super low redline (like a base). I dunno why DC5s constantly get dumped on in games, but they definitely could use some shine.
I agree about the DC2 ITR though. I'm actually really surprised it didn't make the cut. - tsukuyomi-r8 years agoSeasoned Vanguard
I listed Evo 8 which is basically the same thing just with better looks by a tad and performance IMO. I like the cars you added but most of those were in NFS 15. I mean you can still suggest them but the point of this list was to add cars that have never really been in NFS games before. I guess it's my fault for not stating that lol. The MK5 Supra would be a sweet addition in an update or DLC depending on when it's officially announced and or released! 😉
- ApprovedAnonymous8 years agoI swear the Type-S is always crapped on. But when you think about it that 2002 Type-S was the start of a legacy engine that is known in the top 10 engines to ever come out of Japan. The k20a2 was the start of the K series dynasty and it needs more love. It pisses me off that the Type-S was beaten easily by the 2000 Civic Type R which had a b series engine in it in need for speed 2015. And as for the DC2 ITR I hope they give you the option between the USDM and JDM front bumpers. Honestly, there's so much lacking in the Honda/Acura customization in NFS. There wasn't even a type R spoiler or Mugen front bumper for the RSX so I couldn't replicate my car, but they had the J's racing front bumper which is way less popular.

@144sxKTM This thread blew up haha. But yeah the DC5 gets crapped on often. In NFS2015 it underperformed. In the Forza games (with the exception of the Mugen DC5) the maximum tire width is too narrow for the car to be competitive compared to the lighter FF cars. The visual customization for it almost always seems to be lacking too. I have an '06 Type-S so the closes thing I ever got to my actual car was the ITR in Gran Turismo 5 and 6. We'll see though.
- ApprovedAnonymous8 years agoAgreed! I've had two DC5's, an 05 and an 06. I was so excited when Forza had the 05-06 bumpers/side skirts vs the 02-04, but they didn't change the headlights. What's the point!?
I just started playing Need for Speed 2015 a week ago (thanks to ea's free play). I didn't even bother with the DC5 ☹️
That said, I started playing NFS when the original came out, and I am super excited for Payback, but I hope there's some love for the DC5. - ApprovedAnonymous8 years ago

The 2000 EK Type r was faster and had more customization. They need to step up there game for us DC5 owners.

I have a slightly different idea for cars this time. I've not really seen anyone else talk about stuff like this, so I think I'm the first. Anyways, I have a small idea for EA, if they decide to make another DLC for NFS Payback, similar to the Speedcross one we got a while back. These DLC's each have a new car type for each character, as well as some new cars and a few missions. I'll list the car types below, as well as new vehicles exclusively for the build.
Tyler - Circuit Build: High top speed, and excellent handling, brakes and acceleration on tarmac, but when you take it offroad, it's very difficult to even move properly. Full nitrous when a circuit car is first bought from a dealership. For missions, a new street league will challenge you. The leader of the league drives a Dodge Charger Daytona. New cars include:
1. 1970 Dodge Charger Daytona
2. Bentley Continental GT
3. Toyota Supra
Icon for missions and dealerships would be dark blue.
Mac - Monster Build: Huge vehicle with increased speed offroad, and high acceleration, but weak brakes. Can climb over other vehicles and dividers. For missions, Mac is challenged by a crazy scientist who has combined a Fiat 500, with a monster truck. Mac, with the help of Rav, makes his own monster truck, and tries to beat the Scientist's stunt scores, before racing him in a one-on-one race through the desert. New cars include:
1. Fiat 500 (Abarth)
2. 1984 Toyota Hilux
3. GMC Vandura
Icons for missions and dealerships would be orange.
Jess - Raid Build: A cross between Offroad and Runner builds, these cars are literal bats out of hell. Quick acceleration, high top speed, average brakes and full nitrous at stock form. Handling depends on weight, meaning that you have the option of sacrificing ramming power for better steering, or vice versa. Any car you ram at high speeds will be knocked out instantly. Raid cars perform even better offroad. For missions, The Broker could contact Jess again, and say that someone's trying to bring the House back to Fortune Valley. New cars include:
1. Mac Attack
2. 2017 Dodge Charger R/T
3. 2017 Dodge Ram 2500
Icons for missions and dealerships would be black.
Please let me guys know what you think.
This is the best idea i've ever seen @DarkPugLord23. I would recommend do more of that ideas

Thanks for the compliment, @Zieroar!
I do have a few other ideas for car types, and new vehicles, but I need to figure out how they work and stuff. I'll place the ideas down when I get a chance.
No problem. Oh and those ideas reminds me The Crew.

A few ideas I do have for EA, is about Customisation's and Speed Cards, and a few new cars.
For Speed Cards, maybe EA could make it so that we can switch Cards between different cars. And maybe add a search bar, so we could look for the exact Speed Card we need.
For Customisation's, I think a lot could be done here.
For one, Muscle Cars, Drag Builds and that hod rod thing, should have air intakes and hood scoops as well for Hood Customisation's.

Then, for Runner Builds, maybe some Bull Bars, to make them more menacing. I think it's rather a shame that we can only add Bull Bars to Off-Road Super Builds, and not to any other car.

And for new cars, I have a few suggestions, and images to go with them.
Fiat 500

Morgan Roadster

GMC Topkick

And, a new car pack I like to call "Movie Stars Car Bundle," including cars like:
1958 Plymouth Fury (Christine)

DMC Delorean (Back To The Future)

GMC Vandura (A-Team)

1973 Ford Falcon XB GT Coupe (Mad Max)

Please let me know what you think.
