Go for CCX. It is not hard to grind for bps, once you know how to do it. Maxed out McLaren is perfect for that.
What works for me:
1) draft him and replenish nitro. With perfect start, it is all you need. With a good start, fire up nitro immediately to get yourself into drafting position. When too close, fire up nitro and overpass.
Once in a while I get a late start, then start drifting and using nitro, usually you can reach/pass MKing at the entrance to the tunnel.
2) when in front, turn on easydrive:-P If MKing is not too close to pass you again, it is all you need, just fire nitro once in a while. Sometimes (for me it is the right turn to the bridge in the middle of the race) the AI driving the car hits the car going the other way, therefore I usually turn off the easydrive before the turn, start turning sooner and switch easydrive on again after going out of the curve.
Even if you don't succeed with passing MKing in the tunnel, there is still a chance, usually you can reach him by the jump and try to ram him or something. After some practice I do win most of the races agains Marcus King.
