Re: Will there be a Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005 remaster? (Restore Hope)

@Ion_understand I am not aware of any plans for a remaster but with the recent Burnout Paradise remaster never say never. Should I hear anything I will let you know.

@EA_Darko if you do decide to remaster Need For Speed Most Wanted, would you guys use old green screen cutscenes, or would you make new ones?

@EA_Darko also if you had to choose between Need For Speed: Carbon, and Need For Speed: Most Wanted, which one would you pick to remaster

    NFS most wanted bro
  • Most wanted alot better than carbon I beet carbon within 3 hours it took longer in mostwanted and mostwanted 2005 version can't be beaten

  • @GK3512 I know nothing about that. What's the deal? Still, isn't it always about money? Lots of people would pay.

@tosemusername Lexus/Toyota currently only give Microsoft license for non-Japanese games. So EA doesnt have license to Toyota/Lexus now.Hence why MW05 wont get a remastered edition. But the game without Toyota/Lexus(HP2010) may get a remaster this year.
  • @GK3512 Oh. Well, I like HP too, it's my 2nd favorite, but I don't think it makes sense to remaster it. The game still looks and feels up-to-date.
Btw, if that's the reason MW05 won't get a remaster, it sucks most because, at least to me, sounds a bit trivial.
  • Do you think you can send in a word for 2005 Most wanted remaster. Myself and along everyone who loved that game and thought that Most wanted was literally the best need for speed. I would love to put my money towards that game even if it’s a remaster or a backwards compatibility. So is there a way for it to be remastered?

  • So it's been like 7 years and BMW put up an old m3 GTR and wrapped like the one from the game and even the actor that played Razor came and saw it. The people want a remaster of this game. We are just not happy with what has came of need for speed these days. It will save the franchise. You think 15 million is a lot of copies sold, remaster this game and you'll double it.
