Same problem here on the Xbox One. Had achieved level 14 earlier today. Turned off the console and left the house for a few hours. When I tried to play it tonight, the game would not allow me to get past the title screen by pressing "A". I took out the disk and started a different app on the XBO, then put NFS back in. Once loaded, I got sent back to level 9 which is from a day or 2 ago, and all my racer stats were reset to all 0's. Called Microsoft support as they wanted to make sure it wasn't a hardware issue and power-cycled the XBO at their request. The stats now reflect about what they should have been when I was a level 9, but I still lost a lot of what I earned/bought. I also have the level 10 achievement. Bad bug!! Makes me not want to play anymore.
