replacing/editing save file doesn't work or makes entire game restart

@X_Zetster_X without even looking at any of those sketchy videos, I can already tell that you probably didn't match the origin user ID for the save.
In the save directory(My documents\criterion games\need for speed most wanted\save). If you bought the game, then you should re-name the default 0 folder to whatever your Origin ID is.
also, git gud, it takes around 10 hours to max out everything in single player
