Rivals 450MB patch
After Origin launch I notice, that Rivals downloaded 450MB update, but I can't find any information about fixes or addons which are inculded in this update. Where I can find update log?
This fix does not work for everyone because not everyone runs 8 core I7s and GTX 780s or R9 290Xs and me running a very cheap but decent gaming PC can't use this. So some of us have to wait for the official patch unless someone have other suggestions. And the upcoming DLC was a hope that a patch to fix some of the basic issues would follow with the new cars. Sadly i'm left disappointed. Again.
I have a Core i7 2600K OC'd to 4.4GHz, and a GTX 690. And with that stupid shortcut/Origin command thing, I almost never get 60FPS. I talked to an EA person in live chat a few weeks ago, and he said that a patch to unlock the framerate (or at least allow it to be at 60) is currently in development. I know that the same thing happened with The Run 2 years ago (and I don't know how long it took for the problem to be solved), but that's really no excuse. This should have been among the first things they patched.
I did a check on that and if The Run had launched next to Rivals it would have been fixed by now.
Doesn't matter how powerful PC you have really. This is a performance video I made prior to the patch to be able to make a comparison video after the patch. It's unlocked at 99fps.
i5 2500k @ 4,4Ghz
8GB DDR3 @ 1600Mhz
EVGA GTX 780 Classified 1280Mhz on the core and 6804Mhz on the memory
Game running from a Samsung EVO 840 120GB SSD, OS on another SSD.

That's a great video showing just how poorly optimized NFSR really is; and honestly, I don't know if they can fix it without completely rewriting huge chunks the code. So, the question is... would EA fund a major patch like that? I'd like to think so, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a fix.
