RX480 driver crash?

Hello,

Two days ago I have subscribed for the Origin`s Vault games.

And for two days I am struggling to play the new NFS(2016). My computer has an AMD RX480 graphic card which keeps crashing because of the driver I supposed(you have the error attached)

My drivers are up to date and I am using Windows 10 licensed.

Any one has any idea how I can make this work? I really enjoy NFS, but sadly,I am unable to play it for more than one hour in some good days.

Note that games like The Witcher 3 or Dragon Age Inquisition work without any problems(even tho Dragon Age Inquisition had the same problem before, kicking me out because of the driver, but every works good now with the latest one)

I really appreciate any help.

    Hey Tom,

    Thanks for the reply.

My GPU is not overclocked and I did a reinstall of my driver using the DDU application and still nothing.

I did search around on this forums and the AMD forums and apparently this happens pretty often and the solutions vary.

Regarding the link that you have shared, I guess the fact that I had Origins enable in-game was the only problem, which I have modified and I will test to see if it is any good.

Another thing that seems as an improvement was deleting the gaming profile for NFS in the Radeon Driver - but that only lasted for a few hours and then I got another similar error.

If you have any other ideas, do share them please.

Other than that I think I will just have to wait for an update coming from AMD?

    @soare23

It sounds like you did check all the things that you should've - that is much appreciated and I would like to thank you for your clarifying post.

The only other thing that I can think off is tweaking your Radeon settings some more to see if that makes any difference. As you stated, the solutions for this error vary quite a lot so I would recommend to continue testing.

A driver update should most likely resolve the issue - do let me know if you run into anything else.

I just got kicked now out of the game and the error changed as you can see in the attachment.

The weird thing is that when the driver crashed this time, my Logitech T400 mouse`s driver crashed as well, even tho I do not see any connection.

I will try to close the mouse driver prior running the game and give it one more try.

Anyway, thanks for the help, I will update the post if I have any other leads or if the situations changes at the time of a new update(hopefully is going to be soon)

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. You probably already checked this by now but could you please also verify that your Logitech drivers are up-to-date?

    Hey,

Yup, everything is up to date.

I did played today for a few hours and it seems it is working good, just by closing my mice`s application prior entering the game(the SetPoint app from Logitech)

I will just keep it like this and hope it wont crush again.

Thanks for the help Tom, I will come back with updates if I have any.

    Have a great week!
