settings menu is locked with padlock

How to unlock settings menu which shows a padlock on PC - NFS Heat

    Thank you for your answer.  The problem is solved. In fact, I was not able to go down to select the Settings menu.  Since there was a padlock in front of the word settings, I was convinced that the padlock was belonging to the settings menu, and not to the other option the left..  When I re-installed the game, I realized that it was an issue with the keyboard . I was not able to go down using the down-arrow. Once I have been able to select Settings, I have been able to change them.  Thanks again

@Speedbob29 To confirm you cannot change any in-game settings? Would you be able to share a screenshot of what your seeing?
