I managed to solve this problem. I think a corrupted file caused this game to not respond and icons were invisible, I deleted that file via Unlocker and now the game works fine. 🙂

Hi bro. can i know what file is that? i am having the same problem. each time i start it will go to a black screen and nothing happens. tried renaming the file to shift2u.bin.exe, tried running or several compatibility and as admin. non of these work. can i know how you solved it? 🙂
