Stalls out while getting in first car

Question

Need for Speed Most Wanted doesn't get me past a few minutes in the game. &nbsp;When I pull up to the first car which is a Porshe, it states to press ESC to jump in. &nbsp;The game pauses and there is no way to get off that screen. &nbsp;It just sits there and no button will unpause it. &nbsp;It was a good looking 60 second game.

If you think the key press is not registering then you might consider using the virtual keyboard to try again.&nbsp;Since I am unsure if this is in fact the key press not registering or the game crashing, you might want to check our crashing and freezing guide as well.

If none of these suggestions work, can you please also add a dxdiag and a screenshot to this topic?
