Steering wheel compatibility
I wonder if we'll be able to use steering wheel controllers with the game. Anybody. Know if it will pr wont?

I hate EA - Even their message board is buggy.!!!
First let me say that EA should be boycotted for not providing wheel support for a racing game in 2017!!! If I did not get this game for free, I would not be wasting my time! However, I did find that the excellent 360 emulator from Github worked great for Payback! I NOW HAVE WHEEL CONTROL for my Logitech GT!!! I did this some time ago for Rivals. Go to https://github.com/x360ce/x360ce and download the latest version for your system (32 or 64bit). I used version 3.2.8.77 with all of the default options (Windows 7 Pro 64bit, game purchased with Origin). Read the page carefully so you don't miss a step. This is an excellent emulator, but not necessarily user friendly. I can't guarantee proper answers, but if you have questions, I'll do my best to answer them and go into more detail as to what I did.

My wheel works (G920) but i got a slight problem:
After about 10 seconds of driving, shifts take awfully long (both manual and auto). Could you maybe help me there?

Please note I'm a PC user exclusively. A lag in shifting in manual might point to the controller, but in automatic...the controller should not matter! I'm not familiar with the G920, but in auto, the game controls the shifting no matter what input your using. The only thing I can think of is that the accelerator on the controller is not reaching enough "rpm's" to shift to the next gear in a reasonable time. You may try adjusting the accelerator control on your wheel and see if that makes a difference. Best of luck...and if that works, please let me know!

Quick Update. It seems i got it working but honestly don't know how. I recalibrated my wheel, maybe that did the trick but i don't know.
By the way, i'm a pc user as well. The Logitech G920 is just a G29 but compatible with the xBox instead of PS.
