Stuttering framerate with a 980Ti

Need for speed caps my 980Ti out nicely in usage, but a lot of times I'm met with stutter when driving around.

I've tried lowering the settings to high except for texture quality, as I'm only using 4 out of 6 GB of my DRAM, but the game still stutters.

The game is installed on a SSD, and I got 16 GB DDR4 RAM, so the textures should load quickly enough. My CPU is a i7-5820K, that is overclocked to around 4GHz, and none of the cores are maxed out when playing.

Anyone know a way to fix the stutter without compromising on the quality too much?

One thing to try to solve the stuttering issue is to disable Origin In-game as this is a well known cause of stuttering in many games.

To disable Origin In-Game, follow these steps:

    1. Open your Origin Client
    2. Click "Origin" in the left corner, and click "Application Settings"
    3. Click "Origin In Game" on the left side of the window
    4. Un-check the box next to "Enable Origin In Game"
    5. Boom...Done
