Re: NFSMW 2012 no longer playable

Hello EA Support,

Since October 2026, many PC players have been experiencing error 80070000 when trying to access the multiplayer features of Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012).

The PS3 and Xbox versions appear to be working, while the PC version remains affected.

I identified a possible clue: SteamDB shows an update to the shared EAappInstaller.exe depot on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 18:16 Brasília time (UTC−3). This may be relevant, but a direct connection to the error has not been confirmed.

Could you investigate the PC multiplayer and Autolog connectivity issues and determine whether a recent EA App or server-side change caused this problem?

Thank you for your assistance.
