Switch Racing Wheel and Foot Pedal

I have a racing wheel and foot pedals.  Wheel works great, but I notice the game is treating my foot pedal like a joycon button.  I.E., it's either on/off -- I'm either flooring it, or am not giving it any gas at all -- there's no middle ground.  Anyone know a way to fix this?

    HPR doesnt have official wheel support so u might be out of luck.

    im surprised u were able to get the wheel working tho...
