Text too big AND Frame drops

I won't open two threads for two problems, so here they are:

First, I would like to know if there is any way to make the in-game text smaller (the text that's on the screen in a race). In a multiplayer race, there is text on both sides of the screen (player names, positions, etc.) and for some reason it's way bigger than it should be (in my opinion). It's covering like 50% of the screen and I can barely see objects/cars/corners that are not in front of me. I would like to know if I can modify some files to change the size of the font.

Second problem would be the frame drops. I've seen that many players have this problem but nobody offered a solution. I'm pretty sure the problem is with the game, not my PC. I don't have a powerful PC but I was able to run NFS: MW 2012 (which is newer and I think is more graphicaly intense) with no problems. Also, players with better PC's, as I said, have the same problem. I have a Nvidia grapchics card, up-to-date drivers.

I would be very grateful is somebady could provide some solutions.

Thank you.

About font size: try to change screen resolution.

About frame drops: you don't have powerful PC, try to lower your graphic settings, program your cooler from passive cooling to active. (I have 2 coolers and have this option) Set your PC power option to "High performance".

    Try to reinstall your game.

  •  The resolution is set to max.

AGAIN, the problem is not my hardware. The game acts the same with the lowest possbile settings and with the highest.

I have an official Need for Speed Hot Pursuit registered on Origin.

    My computer is Alienware M17x R4, 3rd generation Intel Core i7-3630QM 3.4 GHz, 1920x1080 Full HD with 3D 120Hz WLED 17.3 monitor, G-Force 660M 2 Gb, RAM 6 Gb.

I'm playing on Max settings without any lags, everything is perfect.

  • Seriously, this is not the place to brag about how much money you have. If you're going to help me out, I'm more than happy to test your sollutions.

Off topic : I won't even insult you for buying something just for the brand. :robothappy:

Try to reinstall the game, because you can't change the font size using in-game settings menu.

Which graphic card do you have and which Windows is installed on your computer. Maybe something wrong with display settings (I have an NVIDIA control panel)?

Do you have an original game or a "pirate" copy?
