I skipped the last two pages of comments here but I guess you both have a point.
When I started with this game, I was surprised how difficult it was to lose the cops im my stock E30. (and I have thousands of hours spend on older NFS) I didn't know about jumps and all that and I liked how risky it was to go over heat level 2. It was as challenging, as I want it to be.
Now that I know about the jumps the cops are way too easy. With a strong car and jumps heat level 5 is nothing serious anymore.
I think losing the cops should require driving skill and good knowledge of the area. I don't see any problem in learning how to lose them easier. It's part of getting better at a game. But I'm also not a fan of losing the cops by jumping over and over again because thats horribly lame and doesn't require skill.
I guess they actually changed the cops already, as you can see in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZmj8ZB1D4I
It might make sense to make them less difficult for the beginning of the game or to limit the heat level. But if they nerfe them in general I would really be disappointed. I would like to see a heat level 6 for players over rep level 50 where the cops get insane and jumps are no solution anymore. - 6 years ago@MaxX2905 I totally agree. the last post I added, I included a link to this websites tips and tricks. and #1 it tells you to learn the areas, also to use zig-zag patterns while in areas with lots of streets or containers and such, so you dont have to use jumps, but it is good to know you can for when it gets crazy! But mostly it warns you about increasing your heat, get high heat, very good chance of getting wrecked, and busted.
