Thoughts on the New Trailer

To decide to cut out  cops from free roam in payback and expect the game to stay as good as it would be with them in, is like deciding to cut out David Hasselhoff"s voice box and expecting him to still sing bad.

I wonder if ghost/ea were too scared that the cop ai might be as bad as it was in nfs 2015 ? Easier to leave the cops out then.

Same story with  nfs 2015 and the emphasis ghost/ea put on customization of cars in the game, I did not hear one mention in  the glitzy trailer that most of the parts are not available and are not even in the game.The game suport and updates have been dismal too, now it seems cut off altogether and so soon after it was made playable with a botched patch to make my game controller think it is a steering wheel. .

Yes ghost/ea learned they can sell an incomplete bug ridden game to people and they won't end up in court answering a  fraud charge, even if they don't fix it properly.

Shame it isn't.

I played and enjoyed nfs 2015 for hundreds of hours, I played it even more than I played settlers, populous or frontier,elite in the amiga days..

I like doing the race business and pleasure to the song drivers seat , I try to keep the ai racers slowed down by not going too fast so that the song and the race end together just after I win of course..It was inspired by a post on the 2015 forum about the race business and pleasure being impossible to do, which it isn't. I wanted to try and video my race with music to prove it can be done.I want the other races to be in shot so the vid isnt boring to wach, no crashes etc,,it isnt easy to achieve but sometimes the races look like they were scripted by hollywood man, different camera angles during the race, etc.

I agree , I have 1200 hrs in nfs 2016 and like you i put more into it just driven around free roaming and building my cars. I have some hrs devoted to my reshade mod as well but a major part of those hrs are all customizing , chilling and driving. 🙂

I decided to give drifting a try again and i was annoyingly reminded of why i don't drift in that game.

Drifting in NFS 2015 be like.....

I did the most stupid thing tonight, more stupid than saying ""yes""to marrage if two have already failed..I restarted the game..I have the lazer guided ai cheats all over me now, plus I have got  a crappy beginner  car and no rep. Am I glutting for punishment or what ?

I started over because I missed the bad acting in the video scenes.

You know whats crazy for me is that fact I have never had a game spark my anger like NFS 2015 can but yet I have more hours in the dam thing then any other game I have.

As long as I don't get involved in a race and just cruise around and build cars im content , happy and mellow. As soon as I do one race though and every %$%^% time a OIL CO AI DROPS OUT OF NO WHERE IN FRONT OF ME AND WRECKS MY 1ST PLACE ONCE AGAIN !!!!! THEN IT HAPPENS !....... "deep breath " .....but Im not angry , not me . 😛

@master2g Yeah, the races are infuriating. One thing I hated was after a drift or power slide around a corner, the car never wants to turn and you wreck. That was super annoying to me lol 

Yep, I played the game from day one with a Xbox 360 windows PC controller. Even though it wasn't " supported" it worked , well for the ,most part because like you I always had that sudden harsh pull to the right. Be driving along and at low speed in second and it was like the tie rod end fell off your car and off it go. Fingers crossed on payback .
