Tire width and rake rant again.

Yes Im sounding like a broken skipping record but come on ! , I was just building my second fire bird TA and i come across the bleepen odd tire track width problem once again. I ask you how is this acceptable in game with this level of looks and detail. ?? Every thing comes together in customization just right but then only to have it all soured and ruined by this frustrating wheel width and body rake deal. We had in 2015 and it was used way more then this new air ride is. I don't personally have use for air ride as the only time its usable is when one is parked, car turned off  and stationary , and how often is that being done in a racing game. ????. I did a really * *** fast phtoto shop again to show the current stupid ..ahem frustrating , state the rim and tire customization is in to what it should be i all regards. Il bet good money that 100% will agree the photo shop is proper and WAY MORE immersive and real looking then that narrow one. Like i say it would be a greatly appreciated update that's for darn sure.

 Have a look and see for your self. This is really starting to bug the you know what out of me. I swear id pay for a fix at this point. Take my money i don't care just please fix this !

The current in game look. What the ???

Now my "crappy but makes a point " photo shop of how it should be . There is no way one can say this is worse then the in game deal. It looks more correct  in every way.

After i got the car i was super excited to build my pro touring version  and then i just saw the rear tires and sold the car. I cant even with that narrow shallow wheel well. :Same as the old school beetle. I cant own the car with the rear sagging like it does. .....   ☹️

@Jabberwocky79

I saw what you were saying in the other post about that giant gap between the rear fender and tire when choosing other rear fenders. Unreal  😞

    "We removed stance tuning 'cause clipping"

    Meanwhile the game has more wheel clipping issues than NFS 2015.

    I agree with you this is a very important topic, because the width of the wheels as the Bicycle and it's funny, and the track width of the wheels just miserable and no way to do a wider

    @mrtun3r

    Where ? on what car i mean. I haven't seen it so id like to know were so i can keep an eye out for it. Get some screen shots to post so they can see.

  • @master2g  Yeah he's right. And for the life of me I can't think of the specific examples where I've seen it either, but one thing I'm pretty sure of is that the game adjusts wheel width based on car class. Unfortunately this isn't done with any consistency. For example, for a drag spec car, I'm pretty sure I've seen front wheels automatically size themselves narrower compared to the exact same wheel but in a different class. This would be okay I suppose, but only if it was done correctly - e.g. The game should automatically make the wheels wide for race builds, and drag builds should automatically size the rear tires to be as wide as possible. Ideally, it would be nice to have full customization over everything, but like I said, if they adjusted automatically to the car class it would be okay. As the system currently stands, the adjustments made are completely random - some wheels are wider on the front than in the back, others look like bicycle wheels. It's sad.

    Another thing that puzzles me is why we can't simply have all of the same customization options, including wheel/tire options, in every class. To me it seems like it would even be harder from a programming standpoint to lock out certain options based on the class of car. Why just open everything up to all classes? So what if someone wants to put wheelie bars on their runner car? So what if I want wide-whites on my race car? Customization is what it's all about, and it's not like Ghost should be all high 'n' mighty about keeping the class appearances "pure." That argument goes out the window when you give me an Aston Martin that I can turn into an off-road buggy.

    Great now I am going to be looking for it now that its has been pointed out to me. lol.

    Its all good in my books in every thing customization but the wheel section . Like you say some wheels auto adjust and that's not balanced well as we see in many cars.

    We are very close with the DB5 so its needs to be added to other rides as well. Remembering when we had auto sculpt and I always ask myself how they could do that with older tech but not with current new tech in games.🤔

  • So i did see some clipping in the 32 ford through the rear fenders . Not sure why i never noticed this before.

    plus....i am sooo not trying to get this thread back on top in order to keep it in the top list of things to fix. I would never do that ...hehe   😇

    I want to take this topic up on the list because it's a very important topic for me and other players
