Black Box games (QuickLime Games), the developing team of NFS The Run, got shut down on April 25, 2013 and the whole developing team got laid off.
NFS games will never be the same ever again.
Besides if NFS The Run 2 was ever made by Ghost Games, I'm willing to bet it won't be the same as when Black Box made NFS The Run.

There are two ways to increase a car's PR without spamming replayable Campaign races.
1. Buying Performance parts from Kelly's Chop Shop - getting the best performance parts for each car will drastically increase your cars' PR without much effort.
2. Buying materials from Black Market - you can buy materials to increase your cars' PR minimally without much effort.
