Tuning...!! I have almost 23 hours played, I have earned almost $1.4 million but now I have hit a dead end. I find myself unable to tune my cars sufficiently, I mean it doesn't matter how much money...

Only way I got a car to level 399 was to buy the Regera that was already 390 stock. I completely share your concern about speed cards making your cars stats worse even though they raise its level. I won quite a few level 310 races with a 275 car just because every card I got was making it's stats worse.
I have a level 294 drag car that can't win the level 310 drag races. Its frustrating because I want the game to be challenging but fun. However constant losing is ruining this. I don't see why parts in the tune shop aren't always better than what you have.
