NFSol is currently 2 years old.
NFSol is probably somewhere in the middle of its life span.
The Chinese players are not aware, that EA/Tencent will most likely terminate the online service sometime in the next two years.
First off, I want to say I like your enthusiasm about NFS Edge (NFS Online).
From the amount of text and links you put in here, I can tell you are very passionate about it! 🙂
EA Spearhead is formerly EA Korea. Nexon is a South Korean game publisher. Therefore, the game was originated in Korea when both the developer and publisher are Korean.
As the original Korean servers were permanently shut down on May 30, 2019, it will be a matter of time before the Chinese servers will follow suit and be permanently shut down as well. It's just a ticking time-bomb at this point.
You are right about that.
If the game fails in one region (especially in the region that it originally was made in), then the game's lifespan in the other regions are questioned (and rightfully so).

This article is probably tainted/corrupted by -my perspective- of a passionate ex NFSW player. I really wanted NFSol to be officially translated into English (& all major world languages) and to become the second, better, newer NFSW 2. But now I know that's not going to happen.
It can happen.
If EA decides to use NFS Edge (NFS Online) to make a quick cash grab of a dead MMO racing game for the thirsty MMO racing fans in the North America and Europe regions. lol
Right now, there are no MMO racing games in the west. NFS World, Project Torque, Drift City, and so on have all been permanently shut down in the west.
So EA can just release the game in the west and lots of MMO racing fans would play it as it's the only MMO racing game available in the west.
History will repeat itself though.
As the game will be a quick cash grab in the west, the game wouldn't last very long and would also be permanently shut down as well.
An example would be an MMORPG called Bless Online that was milked to oblivion by its Korean developers and publishers.
That game was released in four regions: Korea (original country), Japan, Russia, and NA / EU.
All servers in all four regions had since been permanently shut down.
Original Korean servers lifespan: August 2017 to November 19, 2018
Japan servers lifespan: November 2017 to August 8, 2019
Russia servers lifespan: December 2016 to May 2017
NA / EU servers lifespan: May 28, 2018 to September 9, 2019
So I don't recommend playing it a lot and spending real money on it if it does come to the NA / EU regions.
Just play it to experience it at least once, like how we played NFS World to experience it years ago.
