Update 1.03 taking forever to download

Are there any known problems downloading update 1.03 for the PS3? I have high speed internet and just downloading the GOW demo no problem but the NFS 1.03 update is taking hours and eventually just crashes mid way. Is there any other ways to update from like an sd card or something? Thanks!

    Mine too, I mean really slow. file size says 2068Mb (2Gb). Its like being on an ancient 14.4 dial-up modem. If it was 28.8, it'd almost be done! I started to d/l yesterday at 4pm. By 7pm it was at 4%, I tried cancelling/restarting but then it was even worse. Trying it today, started at 11am, its now going on 4pm, 31% and says 558 minutes left! My connection is fine. Other downloads are fine. The 2 add-ons I got this morning b4 trying this one were 2gb each & were done in less that 30 min. Then I tried the game update. Ridiculous.

    Servers where probably overloaded when everyone downloaded the large patch at the same time.

    I don't think, that this problem is fixed or solved. It doesn't work to download it!

    And the Ultimate Speed Pack also doesn't work on the game! 😕mileymad:

    In my opinion, EA doesn't care very much for the players of their games. Because, why is the problem yet here? ;-)

    It's currently 01:18 14/04/2013. hoooorrraaayyyyyy. my 7th attempt & it's finally downloaded, now just another 20mins to install & i'm that pissed off with the whole process that the game can kiss my ass, cos i'm off 2 bed. what a nightmare that's been. the only thing i can suggest is to keep tyring. (",)

    This is a general problem with all updates on PS3 games. Really annoying as they all take ages and then timeout sometimes. Not sure it's an EA issue but the Sony team need to fix this.

    God dammit this problem still exists, just bought the game and since two days i havent able to download the 2gb patch, they should have split down the file into parts, cant there be a small update instead for people who just want the fixes and not the dlc
