Video Scheduler Internal Error when Using External Display (Steam)

My game bsod (video Scheduler Internal Error) when launching using external monitor. It works fine on the native laptop display and never crashes. But once I'm connected to external display, it BSOD ...

This is the same exact problem I have been having for the past few months.  Only happens when I full screen a game via Origin while using an external display with an HDMI cable.  My laptop is a gtx 1060 max q with an i7 8750h.

    @Mason_py @Saltyass96 have you tried to update GPU drivers?

    Also how many HDMI ports do you have on the laptop?

      @EA_Atic I have updated all my GPU drivers and my laptop only has 1 HDMI port.
