Wants verses reality
Its sad really that these days to many cant see past their own nose. What I mean is that recently I have seen more and more blunt , demanding , rude and annoying post in regards to Paybacks current ...
@1WhiteWolfALPHA So you are saying market share as a whole? Not too many people play racing games now so the market share for racing games will be small compared to other games. I can see what you are saying though. The competition can be fierce in the racing game market. Most people gear more to simulation than sandbox style racing games. I like the customization aspect of racing games so I gear more to the sandbox style. All in all, games such as Payback are hurting in the market share, I feel, because there just are not very many people (out of all of the gamers out there) that play racing games. If there was a huge demand, that might be different.
@1WhiteWolfALPHA Re-read what I posted. I was talking about the consumer not the company. People dont buy games based off of market share or any other economics issue. I am just not sure where you got all of this from his post. He was not specifically saying anything about market share or any sort of other economic point. As I said, that is up to EA not the consumer. Nowhere did I say that the consumers were not part of their profit or that it was. People buy games because they want to play them not what the market says. We are not investors, we are consumers so bringing up these points hold no grounds to anyone other than EA. He was saying the wants vs reality of what people want. Many things that people out there want, want them done now or they are "boycotting" EA and thats not how things work. Thats the modern millennial behavior.
