I do agree with the controls, either you drive a stiff board or you handbrake to a 90 degree speed killer turn.
But my main point is that the game does not look nice to me. Feels like a bland, tasteless remaster of NFS Undercover. The world is MEH, absolutely MEH. I thought they would learn from their mistakes. Instead I'm presented with an "open world" with no people on the streets, where every building looks like a steam workshop skyscraper item from Cities:Skylines. Nothing makes this this world feel unique. I feel like there's some kind of color filter present that makes it look like colors are worn down, that's driving me away from playing.
And the card system... completely unrelated. Lack of effort to do something that would actually make players feel they are upgrading a car "from scrap to stock to supercar".
I'm regretting the 5 USD I've paid for EA Access, since we all know many of us paid it for one month just to get 10 hours of this.
I'm also super lost on what to do. Guess I won't be preordering deluxe. And will try to get a normal key from the reseller that gives me the best price.
It's an OK game, fun for a couple hours, should be priced around 35 USD.
Kind of a let down for me, had high hopes that Ghost FINALLY understood how to make a proper AAA racing game. ☹️
