What to do after reaching Level 50?
Being an older player I have no desire for the story line to begin with, so after completing story line as well, I'm done with the BS. I prefer NFS like this where I can just go out an drive. I enjoy driving, especially high powered cars at high speed. But I confess there needs to be more to keep interest in the game.
Okay, so I got all the Billboards, most of the Flamingos and Street Art (still searching for the rest}. There isn't a whole lot of benefit to completing these, but I think it unlocks some of the customization like car wraps, underglow, etc. IIRC it only adds 10 points to your overall score. My current score is something like 610/1000 and 31/42 Achievements.
During the Day I sometime feel the need to ram cops (I saw this in Rivals). So I use a truck with increased damage, and go ram a cop. Then the chase starts and I continue ramming cops increasing the Heat Level. The trick is to stay near a gas station so you can repair car frequently as needed. Now you need to keep your car moving cause the cops are trying to box you in, and when that happens you're busted. Okay I ram cops trying to destroy cop cars, when the Heat gets to the point where I feel I'm going to get boxed in. I then use my escape plan exit to the beach or ramp. If on the beach I try to outrun 'em to the ramp, where I then loss 'em. Then I will initiate another chase again staying near a gas station. It gets really intense and your adrenaline flowing, great fun!
Evading the Cops at Night I have not mastered. Having Damage Reduction and Repair Kit allows you to hang a little longer. The Repair Kit gives you 2 extra repairs plus the 3 Gas Station repairs, so use them wisely. Knowing the City and map also helps to evade Cops as there are numerous good places to hide if you can distance yourself from a Cop. Like in one instance I hid under an overpass and shut the engine off, cops went right over top and never found me. Another tactic is hide off-road in a field and shut engine off. Another is you can drive down a train tunnel. What ever method you use to escape the Cops, the main thing is to not lose your head and panic. Try to stay calm and be aware of where you are on the map, so you can employ an escape option.
