If you are still seeing this issue, it may be worthwhile running a GPU monitoring app such as EVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner and configuring a frame rate limiter, set it to your monitor/display refresh rate.
I had an auto restart bug after updating my bios, the fix for me was updating the Intel drivers from the motherboard website. Hope that helps!
mine is a evga z170 classified k with a 6700k, i was getting a restart bug and updating the Intel ME and a fresh Intel chipset fixed it, also added the Intel RST even though I dont use that.

I don't know what is the problem my motherboard detect when I launch NFS Payback the Asus Anti Surge was triggered.
