Actually EA_Barry...i was having this issue and i adjusted the setting in NVIDIA controll panel and disabled the dinamic resolution in game
In NVIDIA control panel i set v sync on and set open gl rendering gpu to my gpu. I tested various framerate options which seemed to do nothing, the game would still frame drop once in a while which an alt + tab seemed to fix.
I need to test this further to confirm. Pleas let your team know about this issue, the mother board im using is a Z170 pro gaming. This is the only game acting like this. An no, my computer is fine.
I had the same problerm, computer reset after starting the game. SOlution for me was updating bios
