Who did the inaccurate sound-fx???

alright, i've been playing this game for only a few days now and i just have to ask WHO was in charge of the engine sound-fx????  because that person(s) obviously did NOT do enough (or any) research as to how a V8 or V10 engine sounds OUTSIDE and beyond europe.

a Buick GNX (which had a 305ci 5.0L V8 does NOT sound like a stock honda civic with a kazoo strapped to it's muffler as the game portrays.

and now, i just started driving a Mustang RTR (700hp V8) and it sounds like a radio-controlled toy car??????????  seriously??

and what's with the horribly false performance specs each time i tune my car.   specifically on the 0-60 spec. 
my pontiac firebird CLEARLY says it currently has a 6 second 0-60, but when i actually do this in the game.... it takes upwards to 10 secs to reach 60.
and my derlict (restored) 65 mustang was even worse. 12 seconds to reach 60 but the stats say 4.7 seconds.  NO clue what that is all about.

    After tuning my cars to 399/299 they sound much better and run pretty close to the times posted...I think, I've never put a stop watch to things but, I really have to chuckle at my Super Build Off Road Beetle since, it has what appears to be a flat head V-8 sticking out the back of it yet, it still sounds like a flat air-cooled 4 banger LOL

    LOL. are you serious about the Beetle? ok, that's just lazy sound design. just cookie-cut the same sound over and over. no matter the circumstance.

    imagine if first-person shooters did that. you know... like when you attached a silencer to a gun but it still made the same exact sound as tho it wasn't silenced.

    simply awesome, yea?

    The GNX does indeed have a Turbocharged V6.

    Also to the OP: this is an arcade style game not Forza or GranTurismo.

    You seriously don't know what a GNX has in it? You need to do your research before complaining. The GNX has a 3.8 liter Turbo V6 in it. The Mustang sounding like a radio controlled car? I'm not sure what you are hearing but, it sounds like a 5.0 liter to me.
