Why not Forza?
Dear endorphin suppliers (developers of the games we loved), I’ve been with the NFS series for a long time. Thus, I believe I am in the position of expressing my opinion about the game I grew up wit...
As you wish.
I like (mostly) Forza Horizon 3 minus a few things, never had a chance to play Horizon 1 or 2. Forza Horizon 4, however, is a completely different story. Aside from a lot of cars that I like, there is NOTHING in Horizon 4 that appeals to me:
- Certain cars being locked behind ridiculous grinds.
- Ridiculous grinds, being nearly impossible to complete at times.
- Overpowered, Rubber-banding AI.
- Lack luster stories, with ridiculous objectives, that must be completed using horribly pre-tuned cars.
- Developer ignores feedback.
- Developer actively deletes most of the negative feedback.
- 70 Gigs of hard-drive space just for the base game.
And my least favorites of this list, going on since Horizon 3 (for me):
- Traffic spawn distance is annoying.
- Drivetrains options are limited to AWD, since anything but AWD sucks for grip.
- Car builds are restricted and some cars are overpowered (Sound familiar?).
And on top of all that, Horizon 3 in 2019 can't even be played with a controller anymore, since cars now refuse to respond to steering.
Thanks for a chance to look at the FH from a different perspective.
You convinced me to do some more research before getting xbox.
I did enjoy FH 3 (also did not play 1 and 2). For some reason i enjoyed the car customisation process and roaming around the map. The races weren't that much of a fun.
Still, NFS has to step up.
You are most welcome, and I agree. If the NFS franchise doesn't step up their game, they will end up becoming a distant nightmare.
