Will using nitrous be necessary to win most races?

I really like how this game looks. However, I am concerned that I will not be able to win most races just with my skill. If I'll be forced to using nitrous to win races, then I will be most dissapointed.

So the question is: Will all cars be equipped with nitrous?

Sadly it seems like this is the feature that you want the players to rely on the most. It even stands out from other buttons on the contoller screen.

I really hope it is only an addition.

It may be an option but, I would use it. The AI will have a big advantage if you don't have it.
  • I think the use of nitro is the same as the previous Need for Speed. It is a customization option.

From gamescom BMW M5 gameplay video, the FOV effect is too much for me when nitro is hit .

I prefer the FOV effect in the Need for Speed 2015.

Yes but too be honest if you have a car with 500+ horsepower, you should in theory catch up with most of the tuned cars. Even if they have NOS, and I have spotted some cars that should do that fine. Etc the BMW M5 Koniseegg Regera, Pagani Huyra just too name a few, so it only depends on the A1 racers. Will they use stock cars if you choose too do it, or will they go for a 100 percent upgraded one. If yes that would deffently give them a unfair advantage, but i gueess wil will never find that before relase.

  • I don't think it is nessesary check out this image from the website. It is telling you to win without using Nitrous

  • @anti-loser1 Seems legit. You can win without nitrous, it will be just a lot harder. Good eyes also, didn't notice that detail 😉
