Winning Races not registering on Need for Speed Most Wanted

The game says I have only won 58/61 races.

I have won all of them and have the gold indication on the cars that I have won, yet on the map it says I only have silver on each of the 3 races.

Is this a known problem or is there a suggestion for how I can get the game to acknowledge my wins?
