Xbox 360 - Audio options - stuttering audio

Don't know whether any one has come across this, but think this is something else that a patch needs to be released for, 

I just bought NFS Most Wanted today, and gone into settings and then when on the audio options the audio stutters badly, seems to be the whole xbox struggling, as doesn't fluidly change the music or SFX volume controls (really laggy).

As soon as I switch onto one of the other options, its immediately more response and the audio plays smoothly.  

Tried both before installing to HDD, and since I installed it.

Would be interested to see whether anyone else is affected.

    I've experienced same audio/video stuttering , when I was first time playing with game settings > solution would be to set up audio> soundtrack/music  from "shuffle" to "sequential".After doing it once I've never experienced this problem again. I've made a post about this week or two ago .  Also, it helps a lot , if game is installed to HDD, because there is a lot of streaming involved and could get very tiresome for DVD player .  (XBOX360)
