xbox 360 controller works but keeps saying to configure

I started the game with the 360 wireless active and immediatly an error message pops up saying controller not configured access settings to configure controller.  The issue is that the controller wor...

Had the same problem myself. It appeared that my Saitek X52 joystick was interfering with the Xbox 360 controller. I unplugged the Saitek and haven't seen the error message ever since.

So, what should you do:

- unplug any game controller except for your mouse, keyboard and Xbox 360 controller

- enjoy the game with no error massages :D

    @Koekemoeroetoe Some mice and controllers also cause the same problem. Unplug any unnecessary USB connected hardware.
