12 years agoXbox 360 Wheel Deadzone
Hi All,
I use a Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel via the Wireless 360 Receiver. The game seems to recognize the wheel as a standard Xbox 360 controller, making adjusting the deadzone in-game impossible (as far as I can tell). From what I've read, there are several options I can use to decrease the enormous dead zone, but I want to make sure I pick one that won't be considered cheating online and will give me the best results:
The solutions I've discovered are:
ToCA's wheel mod (includes replacing .ini in game folder)
x360ce (an Xbox 360 controller emulator app with options to adjust controls)
Directly edit Xinput
Pinnacle game Profiler (a purchased software)
Anyone have any suggestions on the best method?
Also, I picked this wheel because I use it with the xbox 360 as well and I don't wish to purchase another so... Please refrain from recommending the vastly superior wheel that you own ;-)
Thanks for your help!!!
