Xbox Controller not working...

Hi,

I realize the game is getting old, but I thought I'd reinstall it and play around - but I can't for the life of me get the xbox controller to work. When I first booted the game up it didn't even get the controller button prompts - and obviously the controller wasn't working. I restarted the game and I got the controller prompts, but pressing all the buttons on the controller did nothing. I tried different usb ports, and a different xbox controller - but nothing worked. This is the only game that doesn't work.

I'm using Windows 10 x64.

    Which controller are you using?

    Need for Speed Rivals will not support Driving Wheels. The Xbox 360 controller and Keyboard at the only supported input devices for Need for Speed Rivals.
