Xbox One Bug on Need for speed Rivals

I was driving a racer level 17 lamborghini in a hot pursuit race when i got hit by a cop and hit the wall at the same time and my game froze and sent me back to the dashboard and so i decided to reboot my game and i did. i lost my rank i was now a level 7 racer with a BMW back to what i was 3 days ago. and i guess i have to do this all over again. because they said it might be a server glitch. i tried all trouble shooting things and had help with 2 different people with customer support and they couldent figure it out. they told me to wait 24 hours for a refresh in the systems. and this has made me upset and if anyone could help me please?.
