Xbox party going completely silent during online (NFS Hear)

I have tried multiple times play with my gf on Need for speed heat multiple times and no matter what I do my Xbox party goes completely quiet during a race (we are also on the same platform), she can’t hear me and I can’t hear her, I have no idea on what to do to fix this problem and it’s kinda getting on my nerves especially sense this is so far my favorite need for speed game.

    Hey @Wario_Atario 

    Apologies what do you have set for Voice chat on your console settings?

    I believe its located in Settings > Privacy > Voice and Text Communication> Set to Everyone (if possible).

    Yes the Xbox party chat returns when I close the game and also returns when I open the Xbox menu, so it only goes silent while playing the game.
