Am I missing something about this game? Car selection..

Question

So I've just started playing NFS Unbound. I have a few cars, and enjoying the mechanics and cars and visuals. But I'm very confused.

I go out into the "world" in my BMW (drifts and slides everywhere on the road). I enter an event, it's a drift event. And the game puts me into my Nissan Fairlady. Once in the event I can't change the handling, it rarely steps out so I loose everything.

It's happened alot, I'll choose a car and make primary and it puts me back into the Nissan without warning me.

Is this correct? Am I missing something?

Races are based on performance rank of your car. So if you join a B-playlist, you will have to drive a car between the ranks of 100 - 159. If you only have one car in that range, it is going to be auto selected for you, might be a rental car if you don't have one.

You will revert back to your 'primary' car once the playlist is over. Or in other words, you will need a drift car for each performance class and a race car, if you are into rumbles, you might get away with the drift or race car or need a third choice. So in total, you have 3 types of cars and 5 classes = 15 cars as minimum if you want to be prepared for all cases.

Right, so unnecessarily complicated and poorly communicated in the game.

Thanks for everyones feedback- I've not picked this game up again since posting.

It seems we'll be chasing those OG Need for Speed experience forever.

100% agree! go get Forza Horizon 4 when on sale fewer bugs in there the support and devs still doesn't care but there is way more content and better gameplay&nbsp;

Same, I stopped playing after it kept force changing my car to Fairlady which is impossible to win the drift contests. it's frustrating because I thought this seemed like a good game, still looking for that new NFSU2&nbsp;
